Club coach wanted – Mordialloc BC
Lead and coach the Club in respect of Pennant games. Coaching for new bowlers would be undertaken by Club coaches. Specific attention is expected to be paid to players of lower grades who need to understand how pennant is played. As such, future discussions would be centred on “What will you do?” Who are we?
The Mordialloc Bowls Club has a 110 year history. We have two greens, a sand based eight-rink and a seven-rink carpet with good sports lighting.
We entered three teams of sixteen and one of six in Bowls Vic Saturday Pennant in 2018-19 and two teams in Midweek Pennant. We also have two night Pennant teams aimed at workers or newer bowlers.
Grading?
We expect to have Division 1, Division 4 and Division 8 sides and 6-a-side. In Midweek Pennant we will continue to enter two 12-a-sides in the Open competition. We will likely field two teams in the Night SE Electric Light Pennant.
Remuneration?
Available and negotiable and would be discussed when we meet you. We would expect the appointment be for 2 years with future options for both parties
The work?

Selection Criteria:
· Demonstrated personal attributes to undertake the role. These include people management skills, good communication skills, ability to interact with the Club executive and attributes and drills to make lawn bowls fun.
· Specification of practice routines primarily on a Thursday night to ensure all teams play competitive and informed bowls, to both hold their grading and potentially improve in the playing season.
· A demonstrated past record of playing at Division 1 or higher levels.
· An ability to sustain referee checks relevant to personal characteristics and playing background.
