Bowls Victoria is pleased to announce the Para State Side to compete the Australian Para Nationals.
To be competed as part of The Nationals 2026, the event will be hosted by Bowls Australia at North Beach Bowling Club, WA, 6-10 October. The Para event is unique in playing a three-a-side combination with Singles, Pairs, and Triples combinations for both Men and Women. The Men’s Sides must also contain at least one athlete classified in the B5-6 categories.
The Victorian Side contains much experience with the Women’s Side coming off a recent Series win against NSW. We look forward to celebrating further success at the Australian Para Nationals.
State Program for the 2026 representative season:
- Para State Side Series: 17th-18th August, Deer Park Club.
- Australian Para Nationals at The Nationals: 6th-10th October, North Beach BC, Perth WA.
ELITE PLAYERS
There are elite pathways for para bowlers in our four Victorian para squads:
- Para intellectual squad
- Para physical squad
- Vision impaired squad
- Hearing impaired squad
These squads have regular training days at various clubs across Victoria and compete in state and national championships, helping to promote parasports awareness and promote the opportunities in bowls.
