Junior Events

Each year, Bowls Victoria run several junior events alongside bowls clubs around Victoria.

These events are an excellent way for players under the age of 18 to develop their playing skills and go head-to-head with other juniors from around the state.

U18 Doug Kneebone Tournament

Hosted by Bowls Victoria, the Doug Kneebone Tournament is a Junior Development Squad Tournament where teams are made up of 4 players, playing Singles, Pairs, Triples and Fours events.

Not a Junior Development Squad member? You can still compete! We will organise composite sides for all players. Enquire here.

Junior League

Junior League is a Sunday morning inter-club competition that runs across the Melbourne Metropolitan region for Bowls Victoria affiliated junior bowlers under 18 years of age.

The Victorian Junior Bowls Classic provides junior bowlers of all abilities the opportunity to test their bowling skills in a competition, 2 bowls Triples format.

Ted King Memorial Quadripartite Under-18 Tournament

The Ted King is popular two day junior tournament amongst young bowlers, where players compete in all disciplines (Singles, Pairs, Triples and Fours) for accumulated points.
