Para Bowls

VICTORIA’S MOST ACCESSIBLE SPORT

Bowls Victoria provides opportunities for people of all abilities to participate in our sport; this includes making our sport more accessible to people with a disability.

Bowls Victoria works closely with Disability Sport and Recreation and is committed to educating the Victorian bowls community about how to be inclusive of people with disabilities, by ensuring a welcoming, inclusive and accessible environment.

There are elite pathways for para bowlers in our four Victorian squads for: hearing impaired bowlers, para-intellectual bowlers, para-physical bowlers and vision impaired bowlers.

These squads have regular training days at various Clubs across Victoria and compete in state and national championships, helping to promote parasport awareness and the opportunities in the sport of bowls.
