Unique opportunity to be part an Exciting new Bowls Venture
The Dandenong Club (The Club) is undertaking a $1.4m upgrade of its bowls facilities. Works include the installation of a new synthetic green and roof, bowls office, greenside viewing and entertainment areas. This facility is planned for launch in September 2018 and will be amongst Victoria’s most modern and well-equipped bowls facilities.
The Board of the Club intends developing its venue as a hub for bowls to the South East of Melbourne. Geographically it is well placed, located within easy access of Monash Freeway, Eastern Freeway, Stud Rd and Heatherton Rd.
Our “Hub” concept includes active participation in Bowls Victoria pennant competition, hosting of significant events, a seven day per week summer and winter bowls program, school and junior development programs, a retail outlet, café, bar, restaurants barefoot and corporate bowls activities.
The Club Coach will be one of a team of professionals that will include a Bowls Development and Marketing Manager and Bowls Coordinators
The Club’s Head Bowls Coach will be responsible for the development and implementation of initiatives that
Provides individual and group coaching
Manages pennant team training.
Delivers technical proficiency and team strategy
Oversees the selection of the club’s pennant team
Implements a junior development and scholarship program
