Seeking Playing Coach
Murrumbeena Park Bowls Club (MPBC) is looking to gain the services of a playing coach for season 2024/25, and hopefully beyond.
ABOUT MURRUMBEENA PARK BOWLS CLUB
Located in the recently redeveloped Murrumbeena Park sports precinct, MPBC is a forward thinking, progressive, and innovative bowls club, both on and off the green.
Our Saturday (top side in Division 2), Tuesday, and Thursday Pennant sides, along with our Tuesday night team, includes a great mix of experienced and novice bowlers.
MPBC is currently undergoing major refurbishment, including a new bar (due for completion in May) that will compliment the recent addition of the impressive new deck area, and other substantial internal upgrades.
Both of our existing grass greens will undergo positive change this year, with one to be replaced by a new synthetic surface, to be installed prior to the commencement of the 2024/25 season.
ROLE DESRIPTION
MPBC is seeking a confident and enthusiastic Playing Coach to lead the club moving forward.
You would be expected to institute a sensible and effective training program, that would enhance our member’s skills both individually, but more importantly, as a team.
You would play in Division 2 side (finalists in 2023/24), and be involved in team selection.
You would pride yourself on your ability to communicate effectively with bowlers of all skill levels.
RENUMERATION
A flexible package would be offered to the successful applicant, based on our mutual expectations.
