Tasmania to enter National Bowling Arm Championships
Beware the Tassie Diemon!
Tasmania has advised that it will be entering the National Bowlers Arm Championships in September to be held in NSW at East Maitland BC.
They will be know as the “Tassie Diemons” according to advice from the Apple Isle.
Selection takes place in March, and the interim Arm Committee has been taken over by Bowls Tasmania – a positive sign that things are moving well down South.
Bowls Victoria Bowling Arm Coordinator Phil Gude praised the establishment work done by Owen Preston and his team.
“Without their drive locally this would not have happened,” he said.
