St.Joseph’s are Victorian School Champions!

St.Joseph’s College Ferntree Gully have claimed honours at the first ever Victorian Schools Super Series played last Saturday at MCC Bowls Club (Kew).
In an event that invited all Winners & Runners Up from each of the 9 Bowls Victoria School Competitions, it was St.Joseph’s College from the Associated Catholic Colleges that prevailed, defeating St.Kevin’s College by nine shots in the Grand Final.
The inaugural event was well-represented, with 12 school teams from six school associations playing three rounds before the top four progressed to the semi-finals.
With some great bowls being played throughout the event, here was how the results looked after the first three rounds:

Semi Final 2: St.Kevin’s College (B) defeated Haileybury College 6-0
 
3rd Place Playoff: Haileybury College defeated Assumption College (A) 3-1
Grand Final: St.Joseph’s College defeated St.Kevin’s College (B) 9-0
