CLUB COACH
Fitzroy Victoria Bowling and Sports Club is seeking the services of an experienced, accredited coach to assume the senior coaching role for the 2017/18 season.
The successful applicant will be responsible for developing and implementing overall coaching strategies – in conjunction with leaders from the current Saturday Pennant (Divs 1,2,4 & 6) and Midweek Pennant (Divs 2 & 4) sides, the selection panel and the club’s bowls development committee.
The club coach will also be responsible for coaching and guiding the Melbourne Roys team in the Bowls Premier League.
The club prides itself on providing an inclusive, diverse and family-friendly environment, and prioritises the development of the skills of its members – all abilities, ages and experience.
The coach will assist in the recruitment of both new and experienced bowlers, and will have the full support of management and committee in setting appropriate goals, allocating resources and motivating members to maximise their skills and enjoyment.
It is assumed that the coach will play a key role as one of the senior members of the No.1 side.
The club is prepared to offer generous remuneration and terms to the successful applicant.
