Bowlers are encouraged to be among the 50,000 participants needed to join an Australian study to help fight cancer.
The ABC Study is aiming to scientists find out the role our genes, lifestyle and environment play in causing cancer.
Cancer Council Victoria wants to encourage people to participate who do not have cancer themselves, but who have a family history of cancer.
Any Australian resident aged 40-74 years, who has not been diagnosed with cancer (other than non-melanoma skin cancer) is invited to take part.
