State Side Selection Committee Announced
Bowls Victoria is pleased to advise appointments to the State Selection Committee. We are very pleased with the interest from the broader community and the quality of candidates was very high.
The Committee will be composed of the following individuals acting in their areas of specialist expertise:

The overall State Selection Committee is a larger Committee than in previous years with individuals utilised in roles according to expertise, and with responsibility for selecting Open, Senior, Under-18, and Para State Sides. The appointment is for a two-year period, revised annually at the conclusion of The Nationals.
The Open and Senior Sides’ Selectors will be put to task immediately with the first State trials scheduled in April, approximately six weeks away. Significant dates are listed below:

- State Side Series: NSW, 4-6 Aug, TBC, NSW
- State Side Series: WA, 14-16 Sep, SORRENTO, WA
- The Nationals: 12-17 Oct, SORRENTO, WA
SENIOR SIDE (O60)
- State Side Trials, 14 April, BENDIGO
- State Side Series – NSW, 7-8 Aug, TBC, NSW
- The Nationals, 7-12 Oct, JOONDALUP, WA
Bowls Victoria is working with Ian Ewing, State Coach, and the Victorian Institute of Sport on additional off-green activities, with more information to come.
