International Day 2016 is coming
Bowls Victoria’s International Day is like no other on the bowls calendar, and entries are now open for the 2016 event.
International Day will again be held at Mulgrave Country Club in Melbourne’s south-east – this year on Sunday, November 27.
It’s a social day of bowls which celebrates multiculturalism and diversity within our great sport.
Bowlers who take part are encouraged to represent their nation or a bowling mate’s country of origin, come in national dress or national colours, and enjoy a fun and competitive day of bowling.
The 2015 event had 14 nations represented, and 34 teams taking part.
Hungary (Stephen Cunningham, Mik Tuz, Stephen Staff and skip David Taylor) won the overall tournament.
