Bowls Victoria is excited to launch a new event – the Victorian Indoor Championships!
This new and improved competition will see the qualifiers from Victoria (for the Australian Indoor Champs) playing off for the all-new Victorian Indoor Championship title. So now, as well as the chance to go on to play for a National title, one male and one female will officially be crowned Victorian Indoor Champions! Plus, there is now a prize pool of $7,000 up for grabs!
The finals series will be held three weeks before the Australian Indoor event at Tweed Heads, ensuring our Victorian participants will have the greatest preparation for the National event. The Victorian Championship final will be contested between the top 11 male and 11 female Qualifiers (Victoria has 22 entrant spots for the National event up for grabs).*
Important Info:
Entry Fee: $50.00 ($20 of this fee is taken by Bowls Australia).
Entries Open: Wednesday 8th May.
Entries Close: Sunday 26th May, 11:59pm.
* The Final Qualifying spots allocated per venue for the Victorian Finals (and Nationals event) will be determined after entries close.
Dates and Schedule:
Saturday 1st June: Men & Women’s Sectional play. 2 sessions on Saturday (pending numbers).
Sunday 2nd June: Men & Women’s Knockout.
Saturday Section game times:
Morning: 9.00am, 11.00am, 1.00pm.
Afternoon: 3.30pm, 5.30pm, 7.30pm.
Sunday Knockout game times:
11.00am, 1.00pm & 3.00pm.
