Ron Geyer Memorial Classic Fours
It is one of the time-honoured events on the Victorian bowls calendar, and the 2016 Ron Geyer Memorial Classic Fours will again be held at Sunbury Bowling Club on Sunday, April 3.
The event, first run in 1988 as the Sunbury Classic Fours, is named after that event’s founding father Ron Geyer.
The event’s name was changed in 2012 to honour Mr Geyer after his death.
It will again be held on the day daylight savings ends in Victoria – this year on Sunday, April 3.
There’s $4,000 in prizemoney on offer, with play over four games of 12 ends.
Entry fee is $120 per team, including a hot lunch and nibbles after the last game.
