Vale Dawn Berner
It is with great sadness to announce the passing of former VLBA President Dawn Berner.
A Heatherdale Bowls and Recreation Club stalwart, Dawn was a shining example of what a passionate ‘grassroots’ member could give our great sport at a Club, Region, State and National level.
Dawn guided bowls as:
- Victorian Ladies Bowls Association President, 1989 – 91
- Victorian Ladies Bowls Association Historian
- Heatherdale Bowls Club Councillor, 1992 – 93
- Heatherdale Bowls Club Treasurer, 1995
- Group 17 Councillor, 1995
- Group 17 Vice President, 1996 – 97
- Australian Women’s Bowling Council Delegate, 1997 – 98
- Australian Women’s Bowling Council National State Selector, 1998 – 99
Our thoughts are with her family at this time.
