Win $1,000 in Bowlers Arm equipment
Great prizes are on offer for those clubs who run a Victorian Arm Bowling event this season, produce their own flyer to promote it and provide an event report and results back to Bowls Victoria for use on our website.
Bowls Victoria is being generously provided with in excess of $1,000 in bowlers arms and vouchers to the clubs which produce what we judge the best promotional flyers and tournament feedback for their Bowlers Arm event featuring on Bowls Victoria’s 2016-17 Arm Events Schedule.
The overall winning club will receive Bowlers Arm devices from all three manufacturers – Bionic Bowler, DHB and The Bowling Arm.
There are also voucher prizes from the arm manufacturers for those clubs judged runner-up and third place.
All clubs need to do to be eligible for this competition is:
1. Before the event, register your Arm Bowling competition with Bowls Victoria’s Arm Events Schedule by emailing details of your event, and a promotional flyer your club has produced for the event to bowlsvic@bowlsvic.org.au
2. After the event is held, send in the event results, numbers who took part in the event, and if you can, some interesting news about what happened in the event (photos would be great too!) to the same email address bowlsvic@bowlsvic.org.au
We’ll include all entrants on the Arm Events Schedule, which now features a clickable link direct to your club’s event flyer.
Please note those clubs which have previously sent through flyers and details for their 2016-17 Bowlers Arm events have automatically been entered into the competition and will be eligible. You now only need to send in your report once the event has been conducted.
Bowls Victoria’s Communications and Marketing team will judge the awards on criteria based on quality of the flyer and its overall design, and the report provided on the event.
We’ll announce the winners towards the end of the 2016-17 season to give all clubs an opportunity to promote their event and be in the running for such a great selection of prizes.
This is a great opportunity for clubs to promote your arm event and event results and be in the running for one of three very valuable awards being offered by the arm manufacturers.
And winning this prestigious award will set your club up with a full range of Bowling Arms to offer supportive coaching to your members with access to all styles of arm devices.
