This nomination form requires both a personal introduction and career statement (maximum 250 words each). It is recommended that you prepare these statements in advance (eg, type into Word or similar), and copy and paste into this form. You will also be required to upload your Curriculum Vitae with the submission of this form.

This nomination for a position on the Bowls Victoria Board is in accordance with Rule 18 of the Bowls Victoria Constitution.

Nominee Declaration:

I accept nomination for a position on the Bowls Victoria Board and submit a brief introduction and career statement to support my nomination as well as my CV. I understand that this information will be sent to Bowls Victoria Clubs should an election be required for the positions available.

I certify that in preparing for this nomination, I have examined the:

  • Bowls Victoria Strategic Plan 2022-25 and am committed to the Vision, Purpose, Philosophy, Positioning, Values and Strategic Priorities;
  • Bowls Victoria Constitution and am committed to the Purposes of the Association;
  • Bowls Victoria Board Charter and understand the nature of the Board I am nominating for;
  • Associations Incorporations Reform Act (Vic) and have knowledge and an understanding of the duties of office holders.

Important note to potential canditates:
Once applications are received, the Bowls Victoria Nominations Committee will meet to discuss all candidates as required. They will then make their recommendation to Member Clubs according to the skills matrix of the current Board Members and the requirements of the Strategic Plan. The Bowls Victoria Nominations Committee has identified the preferred skillset/experience for the Elected Director position which includes one (or a combination) of the following, noting the list is not exhaustive:

  • Events
  • High Performance
  • Government Relations
