2020/21 State Event Dates

Bowls Victoria provides the following update in relation to Events and Competitions for the 2020/2021 Bowls Season.
The following dates are subject to further advice from the Victorian Government (Sport and Recreation Victoria) and Vicsport, as Bowls Victoria navigates through COVID-19.
These updates aim to ensure as much notice is given to clubs commencing Bowls Competitions in Victoria, when safe to do so.

2021 Under-18 State Championships (revised dates)
Date: 13th – 16th April 2021
Venue: Bendigo East BC
The 2021 Under-18 State Championships will be held from Tuesday April 13th to Friday April 16th 2021 at Bendigo East BC.

2021 Over 60s State Championships (revised Dates)
Date: 13th – 16th April 2021
Venue: Bendigo Bowls Club
The 2021 Over 60s Championships will be held from Tuesday April 13 through to Friday April 16th at Bendigo BC.
2021 State Disabilities Championships (revised dates)
Date: 13th– 16th April 2021
Venue: TBC
The 2021 State Disabilities Championships will be held from Tuesday April 13th to Friday April 16th 2021.

2021 Novice Singles Championships (revised dates)
Date: Sunday April 18th
Venue: Mulgrave Country Club
The 2021 Novice Singles Championships (Last 16, Quarter Finals & Semi Finals) have been moved to Sunday April 18th 2021 at Mulgrave Country Club. The date has been moved back to give Regions and Divisions additional time to run qualifiers for this event.
The Final of the 2021 Novice Singles will be held at State Champions Week at Bendigo East Bowls Club in Early May.
2021 Women’s Country Carnival
Date: 18th – 23rd April 2021
The 2021 Women’s Country Carnival will be held in Echuca/Moama from Sunday April 18th through to Friday April 23rd, 2021.

2021 Champion of State Pennant (Weekend and Midweek)
Date: 24th – 27th April 2021
Venue: Moama Bowling Club
The Champion of State Pennant Competition will return to Moama BC in 2021. This will be held on the 24th – 25th April (Weekend Pennant) and the 26th – 27th of April (Midweek Pennant).
2021 Region Sides Championships
Date: 30th April – 2nd May 2021
The 2021 Men’s and Women’s combined Region Sides event will be held in Shepparton across three venues (Shepparton Park BC, East Shepparton BC and Shepparton Golf BC) from Friday April 30th through to Sunday May 2nd.
2021 State Champions Week (revised dates)
Date: 4th – 12th May 2021
Venue: Bendigo East BC
Victorian State Champions Week, which incorporates the Victorian Champion of Champion Singles, Singles, Pairs, Mixed Pairs, Triples, Fours and Novice Singles Finals will be moved back to May 2021. This is to allow Regions and Divisions additional time for submitting qualifiers and winner notifications to Bowls Victoria.
The winners of the Champion of Champion Singles, Singles, Pairs, Mixed Pairs, Triples and Fours Championships will represent Victoria at the Australian Championships and Australian Champion of Champions on the Gold Coast in October 2021
2021 Bowlers Arm State Championships (revised dates)
Date: 18th – 21th May 2021
Venue: Eaglehawk Bowls Club
The 2021 Bowlers Arm State Championships will be held from Tuesday May 18th to Friday May 21st 2021.
2021 Indoor Singles Qualifying
Date: 10th – 11th July 2021
The 2021 Men’s and Women’s Indoor Singles Qualifying will be held on the weekend of July 10th and 11th, 2021. The backup weekend for this event is the 17th and 18th of July, 2021. Similar to what was anticipated for the 2020 Indoor Singles event, this will be held at multiple indoor and undercover venues around Victoria.
