Novice State Carnival
The eligibility period for the Novice State Carnival of three years is an extension on the previous 2-year window, and will enable more entrants to participate in this new format event which is expected to become a popular event on the bowls calendar. If you know a bowler who has been bowling for three years or less, tell them about the Carnival!
The 2027 Carnival is open to any bowler who became affiliated with a bowling club (nation-wide) after May 1st, 2024 (inclusive).
The Carnival includes both Men’s and Women’s Singles (4-bowls, 21-ends) as well as Open Pairs formats.
Event Formats:
- All Sectional play will be 3 x rounds.
- Singles Events are in Sections of 3, with 2 x games played, and 1 x game marked. First to 21.
- Pairs Events are Sectons of 4, playing every round. 3-bowl pairs, 15 ends.
