A promotional permit is now available to all clubs across the state, to use once per season, prior to Christmas.
A player can be approved to play in a Midweek or Weekend Pennant competition for a member club other than their nominated (primary) club, or can transfer.

Encompassing five Bowls Regions within the city of Melbourne, Metro Pennant is administered by Bowls Victoria. The season runs between October to March yearly, comprising both midweek and weekend competitions.
August 24th – Draft Draws released and open for feedback
August 30th – Draft Draws closed for feedback
September 7th – Final Draws released
September 21st – Draws live in Bowlslink
The following Divisions will use digital/live scoring for Metro Pennant Season 2026-27:
Weekend – Premier, Premier Reserve, Divisions 1, 2 & 3
Midweek – Divisions 1 & 2

Regional Pennant is administered by Bowls Victoria’s Regions, with seasons running for various lengths between August to March each year. Most Regions run both midweek and weekend comptitions. Further information can be obtained by contacting Regions directly.
