The selections are made following a Series versus NSW in which the Senior Women secured the victory in an emphatic third Test performance, while the Men lost the decider by eight shots, a margin that belies how close the game was.
Two debutants are welcomed into the Side, both former international representatives, Sharyn Renshaw, a Victorian by birth who played much of her bowls in NSW, and Paul Girdler, one of New Zealand’s finest who has called Australia home for many years.
Bowls Victoria has enjoyed considerable success at this event in recent times and is looking to both Sides to make another big impression in 2026.
