Bowls Victoria x BCiB Extend Partnership

by Team BV

Bowls Victoria is pleased to announce the extension of its partnership with BCiB Insurance Brokers, further strengthening a relationship that has become an important part of the Victorian bowls landscape.

The partnership reflects the shared commitment of both organisations to supporting the sustainability, development and long-term success of bowls clubs and their communities across Victoria.

BCiB has been a long-standing supporter of the bowls community, with a deep understanding of the unique needs of bowling clubs and the challenges faced by volunteers, administrators and members. Through its continued partnership with Bowls Victoria, BCiB will remain closely connected with clubs and the broader Victorian bowls community.

The extended partnership will see BCiB continue its support of Bowls Victoria key initiatives, events and competitions, while providing further opportunities to connect BCiB’s specialist insurance services with clubs across the state.

Bowls Victoria General Manager – Commercial, Andrew Haug, said the extension was a reflection of the strength of the relationship between the two organisations.

“We’re extremely pleased to extend our partnership with BCiB. This is a relationship that has continued to grow well beyond a traditional sponsorship arrangement and has become a genuine partnership based on a shared understanding of the bowls community and the role strong clubs play within it.

BCiB has consistently demonstrated its commitment to our sport, our clubs and the people who make Victorian bowls what it is. They understand the environment our clubs operate in, and importantly, they are committed to helping clubs protect and strengthen their businesses for the future.

From a Bowls Victoria perspective, having partners who genuinely understand our members and our clubs is incredibly valuable. We look forward to building on what we have achieved together and creating even greater value for the Victorian bowls community throughout the next stage of our partnership.”

BCiB Chief Operating Officer, Brett Duprez, said the decision to extend the partnership was a natural progression of the organisations’ longstanding relationship.

“BCiB has a long and proud association with bowls, and our relationship with Bowls Victoria is an important part of that commitment. We’re delighted to continue working alongside Bowls Victoria and supporting clubs and members across Victoria.

Bowling clubs are much more than sporting organisations – they are at the heart of many communities, providing connection, participation and an important social environment for thousands of people. We understand the responsibility clubs carry and the challenges they face, which is why providing the right insurance advice and support is so important.

Our partnership with Bowls Victoria gives us an opportunity to stay connected to the Victorian bowls community and continue contributing in a meaningful way. We look forward to working closely with the Bowls Victoria team and its clubs over the coming years.”

The extension further reinforces the shared commitment of Bowls Victoria and BCiB to the future of the sport, with both organisations recognising the importance of strong, sustainable and well-supported clubs.

As the partnership enters its next phase, Bowls Victoria and BCiB will continue to explore opportunities to deliver greater value to clubs and members, while supporting the growth, sustainability and ongoing success of bowls throughout Victoria.

Bowls Victoria would like to thank BCiB for its continued support and commitment to Victorian bowls and looks forward to building on the partnership in the years ahead.
