Operational Committees – Expressions of Interest
13th February, 2026.
Bowls Victoria is now seeking Expressions of Interest for individuals to serve on two Bowls Victoria Operational Committees: the Officiating & Laws Committee, and the Disciplinary & Appeals Committee.
The Committees will require representation from a broad range of individuals with appropriate interest, expertise, and qualifications, from throughout Victoria.
The Officiating & Laws Committee meets utilising a hybrid model, mainly online as well as in-person (once per year). The annual post-season review is the major undertaking, revising the operation of the Conditions of Play and drafting updates for the coming season.
The Disciplinary & Appeals Committee is seeking interest from metropolitan members to complement those recently recruited from regional areas. A panel is convened as required from the overall pool for the conduct of tribunal hearings. New members are provided with an induction to the Disciplinary Guidelines and conduct of hearings.
