Creswick Bowling Club seeking Coach
Situated in the Ballarat Highlands playing region, is a community devoted bowling club.
Creswick are currently seeking a playing or non-playing club coach for the 2025/26 season. This person will have experience in coaching at a club as either a Head Coach or an Assistant with strong playing experience.
They are seeking someone who will foster a positive, high performance club approach and will inspire the club and its players to perform to their best ability. The successful candidate will report to the Club Chairperson and the Club Board of Management. The club has 4 Pennant sides and will field a strong presence in Division 2 and 4 Weekend Pennant and Division 2 and 4 Midweek Pennant in the 2025/26 season.

Key Responsibilities
These will include but are not limited to the following:
- Player development and coaching plans for the forthcoming season.
- Create and lead coaching sessions and oversee player development across all levels of
the club. - Provide and deliver specific skill development workshops and strategy sessions for all
Pennant players. - Provide monthly reports to the Bowls Director/s for monthly board meetings.
- Recruit new Pennant Players.
- Actively promote women in bowls.
- Participate in selection meetings and support team composition.
- Coordinate and be present at two afternoon coaching and practise sessions per week.
- Provide advice and run match preparation training.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proven experience in bowls coaching or relevant sports coaching.
- Effective communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A passion for promoting bowls and growing the sport.
- Previous experience with team selections and event coordination is a plus.

Employment Details
Term: Initially 1 year contract with the option of extending.
Hours & Renumeration
Negotiable, based on experience and availability.
