Altona Sports seeking Bowls Coaches
Altona Sports are seeking Bowls Coaches to work with the Head Coach to create and implement coaching programs for members of all ages and skill levels, enhancing individual and team performance while fostering a supportive environment.
The position is 10 to 12 hours a week, including Saturday pennant competition.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct tailored coaching sessions.
- Offer personalized feedback and instruction.
- Develop training programs and schedules.
- Lead practices, drills, and events.
- Inspire teamwork and sportsmanship.
- Communicate progress with the Head Coach and the Bowls Committee.
- Support promotional and recruitment activities.
Qualifications:
- Experience in coaching or competitive lawn bowls preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to motivate players of all backgrounds.
- Mandatory current Working with Children Check.
- Completion of Bowls Vic Club Coach Accreditation funded by the club.
