Eastern Park seeking Playing Coach
The Eastern Park Bowls Club is currently inviting expressions of interest for an experienced playing coach for the 2025/26 season.
The successful candidate will report directly to the club president and collaborate closely with the bowls and selection committees. The Head Coach, who must be accredited or willing to pursue accreditation, will be responsible for the following:
- Developing and implementing coaching programs for all members, with a focus on both team and individual growth.
- Conducting weekly training sessions for all pennant players throughout the pennant season.
- Arranging and leading special training sessions for skill enhancement and competency improvement as needed.
- Having the ability to play for our club in the top pennant team.
- Regularly communicating with bowlers and members in person, as well as through the club’s email and other communication platforms.
- Promoting the club to the wider community when applicable.
- Performing other duties as required by the president or committee, in line with the role’s responsibilities.
