2024 Open & Development State Squads Announced

Bowls Victoria is pleased to announce the State Open Squad for the 2024 representative season. The Squad includes 32 women and men who will compete in an intra-Squad practice match in July, before two State Side Series against NSW in August and Qld in September, and the Australian Sides Championships at The Nationals in October.

The Women’s Squad includes 1 debutant, while the Men welcome 3. The Open Squad will be joined by a Development Side to compete in a Series against NSW at St Johns Park in early August. The Side for the Qld Series will be confirmed prior to September.
DEVELOPMENT SIDE
Bowls Victoria is also pleased to announce the State Development Side for the 2024 representative season. The Side includes 12 women and men who will compete in an intra-Squad practice match in July, before a State Side Series against NSW in August, alongside the State Open Side.
The Development Side has evolved from the Under-25 Series in which Victoria previously competed against NSW, and was last played in Moama in 2022 where the Side enjoyed considerable success.
