Lara seeking player-coach
Lara Bowling Club is seeking expressions of interest for a playing coach for the season 2024/2025.
The Player-Coach will be responsible for offering coaching, guidance, and support to individuals and teams at Lara Bowling Club. They will collaborate closely with players of all skill levels to improve their techniques, strategies, and overall performance.
We are looking for a candidate who is eager to gain experience as a club coach. If you have a passion for coaching, excellent communication skills, and a desire to develop your leadership abilities, we want to hear from you!

This is a paid position.

Competencies
- Demonstrated understanding of the sport of lawn bowls, with an understanding of its rules, techniques and strategies
- Bowls Victoria Club Coach Accreditation, or working towards this accreditation
- Support player retention and recruitment
Mandatory
- Flexibility to work on Friday evenings for coaching and practice, and Saturdays for pennant
