Seeking 2 Club Coaches
Club Sunbury is seeking expressions of interest to fill 2 coaching positions across the 2024/25 year.
The first position is for the senior Club Coach, who will be responsible for developing, running and overseeing the coaching program. The second position is for an Assistant Club Coach.
The two roles focus on leadership, coaching, training and support for their members.
ABOUT CLUB SUNBURY
Club Sunbury is a community club on the rise with six Saturday teams, four Wednesday teams, and four Night pennant teams, with 11 out of those 14 teams making finals last season. Our Club has a strong junior program, which we actively promote within the club and is well-received and embraced by Bowls Victoria and Bowls Australia.
We have two excellent grass greens and a world-class enclosed dome providing the ability to play and train all year round. We are the sporting club of choice in the district with a progressive board and management team that help enable our coaches and Bowls Committee to deliver an exceptional bowls program to our 250+ playing members.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
- These roles best benefit someone with current coaching qualifications or an accomplished bowler willing to undertake their coaching qualifications.
- You should be able to engage with members of all ages and divisions and be very approachable and friendly for the role.
- This role also sees you bowling at our club in Saturday Pennant, participating in the selection of Pennant Team, as well as a player requirement strategy run in combination with the Bowls Director.
- Other role requirements include a Working with Childrens Check and excellent communication skills.
SALARY
Remuneration is to be discussed upon interest, as well as the availability of hours for the role.
