2024 Junior Provincial on the move
After eighteen years, the annual Junior Provincial tournament is moving from Daylesford to a new home in the Ballarat Highlands region, and will be hosted by Sebastopol Bowling Club.
The move has been initiated to support the growth of the event, as we continue to see entries increase year after year, and with a goal to have a representative team from every region across the state participating in this hugely popular annual junior event.
We’d like to acknowledge and thank the Daylesford Bowls Club for their support and sponsorship of the event over the past eighteen years, and particularly the tireless work from their army of volunteers. A huge thank you to Steve Sullivan, Gerry Flapper and the Ballarat Playing Area, as well as their Junior Committee crews on the tremendous work done over the years to build the event up from scratch to where it is today.
The Junior Provincial next year will be held a few days following the completion of the Region Sides Championships, at the same venue. Regions will play off for the Flapper Family Perpetual Shield, in the original triples format of nine players per side, three rinks.
We take this opportunity to thank Sebastopol Bowling Club for their new sponsorship of the Junior Provincial, supporting the move and continued growth of the event.

Date: Wednesday 17th January, 2024.
Cost: $110 per team.
Entries Close: 17th December, 2023.
Location: Sebastopol Bowling Club, 213-219 Albert St, Sebastopol.
Entry fee includes lunch for 9 x players and 1 x team manager. Teams MUST be affiliated with the Region Junior Squads. Section numbers and finals play will be determined based on the number of entries received.
