State Open Side Announced for WA Series

Bowls Victoria is pleased to announce the State Open Side selected to compete in a Test Series against Western Australia in Sorrento, WA in September.

The Lightning sees one change from the NSW Series, with Blaine Edwards returning to the Big V in replacement of the retiring Anne Miles. Anne has had an outstanding career with the Open Side, playing more than 120 Tests and has been one of the most consistent and valued Side members for several years.
The Thunder also changes, with Brad Orr being unavailable for the WA Series leading to Brad Pavey being selected to make his Big V Open Side debut.
This Lightning and Thunder lineup will play in the State Test Series against WA on from 14th -16th September in Sorrento, WA, before returning to the same venue for The Nationals, 12th -17th October.
