Women’s Country Carnival on the move

by Melanie Allen

The annual Women’s Country Carnival is moving to a new location in 2022.

Held over 6 days in April, and across multiple clubs in the host Region, this fantastic women’s event showcases bowls throughout regional Victoria and has a track record of attracting a huge number of entrants.

We’re pleased to announce that this much-loved annual event, supported by Bowls Victoria, will have a new home on the Mornington Peninsula in 2022. Several clubs within the Morning Peninsula Bowls Region (MPBR) will be hosting some part of the carnival, with the full schedule of events and locations to be published in the new year.

“We’re absolutely thrilled to have the opportunity to host the Women’s Country Carnival in our Region in 2022”, said MPBR President, Bill Johnson. “It’s such a great opportunity to not only showcase our wonderful clubs, but the whole Mornington Peninsula Region. From our beaches to the Peninsula Hot Springs, or wineries, shopping, antiques, and spectacular scenery – we’ve got the lot”.

As always, we know the 2022 event will be an occasion for high-quality bowls, friendship, fun and laughter, all in a fabulous location.

The 2022 event will run from Saturday 2nd April to Thursday 7th April, 2022.

The booking system will open in early 2022.
