Bowls Victoria partners with BCiB Insurance Brokers

by Team BV

BCiB’s partnership with Bowls Victoria continues their long-standing and ongoing support to all levels of bowls, now spanning over 30 years. BCiB Insurance Brokers provide specialised insurance and risk advice to protect the future of clubs throughout Australia.

BCiB are already aligned with and manage the insurances for over 150 bowling clubs right across Victoria. BV and BCiB envisage this will grow considerably in the coming years.

BCiB’s Chief Operating Officer, Brett Duprez said, “Given the pressure bowling clubs are now experiencing as insurer premiums continue to rise, largely due to ongoing claims from natural disasters like the floods and bushfires experienced in recent years, the demand on clubs is huge. Risk Management and improving the risk profile of bowling clubs to the insurance industry is paramount. Our role is to ease the burden and workload of club managers and administrators, and the fabulous work of club volunteers, wherever we can to obtain the best possible outcome and level of protection, to ensure the ongoing viability of a club should they happen to sustain a substantial event.”

“We look forward to seeing bowlers back on the greens again, safely of course, and as one of the flagship events on the Victorian bowling calendar each and every year, we are pleased to join with Bowls Vic as the naming rights partner of the Victorian Metropolitan Pennant and Champion of State Pennant Events,” said  Duprez.

BCiB Account Managers Kelvin Kerkow, Rhea Tan (Victoria) & Steve Glasson.

Andrew Haug, Bowls Victoria’s General Manager Commercial Operations, said of the partnership, “it’s exceptionally pleasing to welcome BCIB into the fold of corporate partners at Bowls Victoria, ahead of the upcoming Pennant season. BCIB have long been involved in the sport of bowls in this country and it’s exciting to partner with such a strong brand, recognised for their commitment and support.”

Haug further stated, “the recent acquisition of partners is testament to the strength of the entire team at Bowls Victoria, together with the organisation’s brand and profile within the market. There are some incredibly exciting initiatives on the horizon for bowls in this state, and we look forward to working closely with BCIB to continue to help them achieve their marketing and business objectives.”
