The Women’s Country Bowls Carnival is back in 2021, with the Campaspe Valley Bowls Division (CVBD), gearing up for a fantastic event that will showcase bowls throughout regional Victoria.

This year’s event, supported by Bowls Victoria, will run from April 18th to April 23rd, 2021, and is a well-loved occasion promising high-quality bowls, fellowship, friendship, fun and laughter.

All clubs in CVBD will be hosting some part of the carnival, with accommodation focused around Echuca and Moama.

The Fours events will consist of sectional play, followed by one knock-out round at Rich River, City of  Echuca or Moama bowling clubs.

The Pairs events will also consist of sectional play, followed by one knock-out round at one of the following locations: Deniliquin, Deniliquin RSL, Elmore, Ky Valley View, Lockington, Mathoura, Rochester, or Tongala bowling clubs

Both the Fours and the Pairs knockout rounds will then continue later in the week at Rich River, City of  Echuca or Moama bowling clubs.

Consolation events and finals venues are yet to be finalised.

The booking system is now open!

Event Committee Chairperson, Pat Schram, commented, “Our Facebook page is receiving lots of visits and entries since they opened recently, which has been wonderful. The border is open again with no checkpoint in place which is very exciting for our towns after such a long time. All the accommodation providers are so pleased that our carnival is going ahead, as are local businesses”.

COVID restrictions and guidelines will be closely followed to keep all players and spectators safe.

Bowls Victoria encourages all our female bowlers around the state to get involved and support this wonderful carnival.
