Get your applications in for a 20/21 Sporting Club Grant
If your club needs to purchase uniforms or equipment to improve capacity and accessibility, or increase the skills of coaches and other officials, this grant is for you.
Applications for Round 1 of the 2020-21 Sporting Club Grants Program are now open. There are 3 categories of funding available, and clubs can apply for one grant from one category only:
Category 1: Uniforms or Equipment – Grants up to $1,000.
Category 2: Skill Development – Grants up to $2,000 for clubs, up to $5,000 for leagues/associations.
Category 3: Organisation Operational Capacity – Grants up to $5,000
Can you apply?
If you were one of the 33 successful Clubs or Regions who received a Sporting Club Grant from any category last financial year (2019/20) you are not eligible to apply again for a full financial year. ie. Club received a grant in 2019/20 will have to wait for any round in 2021/22 to apply again. Clubs can still apply if they have received recent Covid-19 Short Term Survival funding.
We strongly encourage clubs and regions to take this opportunity to apply for a grant in one of the three categories. The explanatory information and application process is very straightforward.
