Arm coaching goes to regional Victoria
Several of Australia’s leading arm bowlers will guide players through the first Bowls Victoria coaching day at Benalla Bowling Club in the Ovens and Murray Region on Sunday, December 13.
Victorian state players Barry Atkins, Lee Wesley, A J Parker, Mike Scotter, Ray Bezett and Arm Coaching Co-ordinator Phil Gude will be involved in the first of three planned Bowls Victoria coaching days around the state.
Others will be held at Yallourn BC on January 17, 2016, and Heathmont BC on February 28.
This is a great opportunity for players in these regions who use an arm device to get top coaching tips.
Mr Gude says: “A group from the State Arm Side have already helped over 600 players and we will get close to 1,000 by the end of the season.
“The State side players are keen to put back into the sport and their coaching has been much appreciated by those who have attended.
“If you are thinking about using an arm device come along and let us help you in selecting the best device for your specific need and give you the starting steps needed to be a successful bowlers arm user.”
The event starts at 10.30am and includes lunch. $10 covers everything – a great deal too good to miss.
