APL03 – Roys struggle, Ali’s Kiwis fly on day 3

by Team BV

The Melbourne Roys have slipped from the top of the Australian Premier League ladder, as Bowls Clayton’s Ali Forsyth took his NZ Blackjacks into the driving seat.
After winning seven of their first eight matches, the Roys had a difficult Thursday, losing all four of their games to slip to the edge of the top four as the tournament reaches its finals stage.
The Blackjacks now head the ladder with an 8-4 win-loss record, ahead of Adelaide Endurance, Sydney Lions and the Roys, all on seven wins.
