APL03 – Magnificent seven for Roys on day 2
If you want to tame the Melbourne Roys right now, you might want to get a whip and a chair.
The Roys are on fire in the Australian Premier League after day two of action at Club Pine Rivers, winning seven of their eight matches to sit top of the table.
They also grabbed early Victorian bragging rights with a win over Murray Steamers on Tuesday night, to cement their ladder lead.
The Roys are two wins clear of the NZ Blackjacks, featuring Bowls Clayton’s Ali Forsyth, and Gold Coast Hawks.
The Steamers prop up the ladder with two wins from their eight matches.
