Charity initiative for Alphington BC
Alphington Bowls Club take pride in supporting community causes and their November 29 charity day, held in partnership with the East Ivanhoe and Heidelberg Community Bank branch, aims to raise funds for a number of local charities.
The event is open to new and novice bowlers only, with a 2 bowl triples format and ‘top ups’ provided from ABC bowlers.
Prizemoney of more than $1,600 is on offer, with an entry fee of $75 per three-player team.
The winners will donate to a nominated charity but get to keep some money too.
There will also be a BBQ/Salad lunch provided, mystery prizes, raffles, refreshments, keen competition and a lot of laughs.
Enter a team with your neighbours, friends, workmates, families but places are limited – so don’t miss out.
