Vale Norm Knopp
Former RVBA president, Norm Knopp OAM, has passed away.
He was 99.
Mr Knopp, from Echuca, was president of the organisation from 1992 to 1994, and was a Life Member of RVBA and Bowls Victoria.
He served in the Australian Army during World War II, and went on afterwards to establish a well-known chain of furniture stores bearing his name.
Mr Knopp’s funeral will held at Echuca Moama Uniting Church, corner of Hare and Pakenham Streets Echuca on Thursday, October 22 at 2pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Legacy or Wharparilla Lodge.
