Test-drive the City of Heidelberg BC
City of Heidelberg Bowling Club is making its Wednesday twilight bowls free to give new bowlers and would-be new members a chance to test the facilities.
The club starts its Twilight Bowls on Wednesday, September 30, then a week’s break before re-starting October 14 every Wednesday until mid-December.
Bowling will be held from 6.30pm to 8.30pm (triples, fours and pairs depending on numbers) followed by a light supper.
Everyone is welcome whether or not you are a member of a bowling club, and bowls and tuition are supplied for new bowlers.
Importantly, the cost is free as the club would like to show would-be members the club’s facilities including the new green under construction.
