State physical disability trials

by Team BV

We’re looking for bowlers to represent Victoria.
Bowls Victoria and the Victorian Bowlers with a Physical Disability Squad invite female bowlers who identify as having a physical disability to trial at the upcoming state trials.
Victoria is currently low on women representatives and are holding trials to boost numbers.
As part of the national championships, Victoria is in the process of selecting a team to represent the state.
The team will consist of 10 players, with up to six men and four women chosen to compete at the national championships.
Successful players selected from the trials will have the opportunity to compete in the national championships held at Musgrave Bowling Club, Southport, Queensland, from October 11 to 16, 2015.
Trial details:
Where: Fitzroy Victoria Bowls Club, 578 Brunswick St, Fitzroy North
Date: Sunday, August 16
Time: 11am – 3pm, including a BBQ Lunch
Interested female bowlers must be an affiliated bowling member and also be willing to register with Disability Sport & Recreation (free of charge), in order to compete in the national championships.
Not sure if you’re classifiable as having a physical disability? More information around classification can be found on the International Bowls for the disabled website:
