This course is designed to equip you with the knowledge and practical skills to confidently step into the role of a Bowls Host. Whether you’re welcoming a corporate group, hosting a casual barefoot bowls session, or supporting social events at your club, your role is crucial in shaping a fun, safe, and inclusive experience for all participants.

Throughout this course, you’ll explore:

• The fundamentals of bowls and how to explain the basics to beginners.
• How to create a welcoming and engaging environment.
• Safety practices and risk management.
• Tips for managing groups and keeping games flowing.
• Simple games and activities to keep participants entertained.
• Effective communication and customer service techniques.

You’ll also gain access to the Bowls Host Guide, downloadable via the resources section. This includes guides, checklists, games, and templates designed to support you before, during, and after your hosting sessions.

Complete the online course via BowlsLearn (course cost is $100).

On completion of the online module Bowls Australia will approve your certification and update your BowlsLink profile. A digital card will be visible in your profile in the BowlsLink App.
