Whether you’re a volunteer or a paid staff member of a club, there are certain mandatory (and optional) certifications that are beneficial to have when working in a sports club.
WORKING WITH CHILDREN’S CHECK
A Working With Children Check (WWCC) is a mandatory requirement for anyone who works or volunteers in child-related work in Victoria. Anyone at your Club who comes into direct contact with children MUST have a WWCC.

FIRST AID TRAINING
A course First Aid training provide the knowledge and skills necessary to provide first aid management to someone injured in a sporting environment. Renewal is required every two years, while the CPR component requires refresher training every 12 months.
