The State Novice Championship is a great stepping-stone into the sport.
It provides the opportunity for bowlers who have not previously been affiliated with any bowling club to compete in a state-wide championship in their first 2 years of playing the game. Bowlers compete in their local Divisions & Regions, before reaching the last 16, with the finals being played during State Champions Week.
Bowlers who have not previously been affiliated with any bowling club before May 1st two years prior to the current season are eligible to enter the current year’s competition.
