Metropolitan Pennant Executive – Nominations Now Open
Recently, communication was sent to clubs from Bowls Victoria regarding the newly formed Metropolitan Pennant Executive, which will be the decision makers of the Metropolitan Pennant Competition moving forward.
This new structure is designed to empower Regions and streamline the flow of information from Bowls Victoria to each Metropolitan Region and Metropolitan Clubs.
This new team will meet outside normal working hours to make it easier for members who work full time. The Metropolitan Pennant Executive will be the custodian of Metropolitan Pennant and make recommendations to the Bowls Victoria Board regarding how to operate the competition moving forward. There are three positions currently available to join the new Executive, and we’re inviting Club Members to nominate. Attached is information about the role of the Executive Committee, together with the prerequisites required to nominate for the Metropolitan Pennant Executive. Applications for the Metropolitan Pennant Executive (both Region nominations and Expressions of Interest) close on May 3, 2019 at 4:30pm. Only successful applicants will be notified, which will be completed by May 10, 2019.
