Winter warms up at Yarraville-Footscray
Yarraville-Footscray aren’t slowing down over winter, with weekly triples and pairs events throughout late April, May, June and July.
The club’s Winter Two Bowl Open Triples starts on April 29 and will be held weekly over six weeks, with finals on June 17 and 24.
There’s one 21-end game each day, with an 11am start and small lunch provided. Entry fee is $30 per team, and there are daily cash prizes, as well as a $450 prize for the overall winners.
The scoring system for the competition is 10 points for a win, five a draw and one point per end won.
The club’s Winter Four Bowl Open Pairs will be held weekly on Tuesdays starting on May 2 until July 25.
Entry fee is $20 per pair, with a small lunch provided.
