Greenline renew as valued partner for VBL4

by Team BV

Greenline have been a trusted and valued partner of Bowls Victoria for more than three years. As part of this ongoing partnership, Greenline are the official Presenting partner of this year’s Victorian Bowls League (VBL4) as well coming on board as a Support Partner of the 2026 Victorian Open.

Greenline Managing Director, Gerry Wallace, says the partnership is a natural fit for Greenline and its core values.

“Our purpose is to keep communities active, connected, and thriving. Bowls brings that to so many communities across Victoria. So, we are excited to continue our trusted partnership with Bowls Victoria and to help as many bowling clubs as possible,” he said.

“A cover not only protects the green but ensures that bowlers can roll up whenever they want in the heat of summer or on a rainy winter day.”

There are currently twenty-four completed or under construction covered greens or ‘domes’ across Victoria. That number is projected to more than double within the next five years.

Bowls Victoria General Manager of Commercial Operations, Andrew Haug, says covered greens are a key part of ensuring the future of bowls in Victoria.

“We understand how important it is for clubs to be able to play and compete twelve months of the year,” Haug said.

“Bowls Victoria see the support from Greenline as key to making that possible for more clubs across Victoria, which can only benefit our great sport.”

Greenline Business Development Manager, Sam Holmes, has been speaking with Clubs across Victoria for the past three and a half years.

“Year-round play is essential for the future of bowls in Victoria,” he said.

“We’ve seen time and again how our high-quality covers and seamless ‘Consult. Design. Construct.’ methodology makes it easier than ever for clubs to transform their facilities and attract new players.”
