Be part of VBL3 | Qualifier Events
This is your chance to be a part of VBL3 and be in the running to win your share of the $82,000 plus prize pool! Enter as a club, a syndicate or a group of mates, but get in early as spots will fill fast.
Qualifier Event | Saturday 6th July, 2024.
Each venue will comprise 2 x Sections of 4 teams, commencing play at 9.00am*. Section winners will play off at the end of sectional play that day, to determine the overall venue winner, who will then go on to take part in the Qualifying Finals on 13th July at The Dandenong Club.
*Club Sunbury will run two sessions. Section 1 will play in the morning, and Section 2 will start at 4.00pm. The Sectional play-off game will then take place on Sunday 7th July at 10.00am.
Format
‘Half VBL’ Format, all games with a 1-hour time limit:
- Pairs (3 bowls, 8 ends) and Triples (2 bowls, 8 ends), followed by
- Singles (4 bowl, 15-up) and Fours (2 bowls, 8 ends)
Lunch is included in the entry fee for both Sectional and Finals days.
$600 entry fee per team, a squad of up to 6 can be named including a maximum of 1 x marquee (Non-BV affiliated) player per team.

WINNING TEAM RECEIVES:
- Entry into VBL3 Sectional Weekend #1, to be played at Traralgon on the 16th & 17th August, 2024.
- VBL3 team uniform, consisting of 2 x polo shirts and 1 x hoodie for each member of the squad (up to 6 players).
- The opportunity to include two x sponsor logo placements on team uniforms, which can include club logo/s. All club and sponsor logos MUST be confirmed and submitted on Monday 15th July in order to produce uniforms in time for Sectional Weekend. It is recommended that teams plan ahead and source sponsors and obtain high resolution logos in advance should you win through.
- Guaranteed game on the Livestream during VBL3 Sectional weekend.
- Advertising opportunity (must be approved by BV), during the livestream of your game.
- Full amount of any prizemoney won during VBL Finals Weekend, if successful in qualifying for Finals.
