Seeking Club Coach

Moonee Valley Bowls Club is seeking an expression of interest for a playing Club Coach for the 2023/24 season.

Moonee Valley is a community club on the rise. The Valley have had recent successes in season 2022/23 such as a Division 1 weekend pennant premiership as well as multiple promotions in other divisions.

In 2023/24, Moonee Valley will have 5 weekend pennant sides including Premier A, Division 2, 5, 8 and 9. The club also has as a midweek and multiple night pennant teams.

Role:

• Implementing a coaching program which includes facilitating drills and training sessions for new, developing, and experienced members
• Mentoring our young and inexperienced members
• Assist in player recruitment

Skills and qualifications:

• Accredited bowls coach or an accomplished bowler who is happy to undertake a bowls coach course.
• A motivated person who fits into the clubs’ culture and values
• Working collaboratively with the committee, selectors, and leadership group
• A leader with excellent communication skills

Remuneration will be discussed to the successful applicant.
